What is Psych?

Okay, for those of you that have no idea what is going on here, and you're just randomly clicking 'next blog' at the top, here is what it is:

Well, for one, let's just clarify that I'm talking about the show psych. Not Psychology. Now that we've got that straightened out, let's begin.

Shawn Spencer is the main character. His dad- Henry Spencer- has been urging him to be a cop or detective since he was a kid. He did this by teaching him how to notice stuff easily. Whenever Shawn entered a room, he made sure to look around the whole room and notice every detail.

In the show, Shawn is in his twenties and thirties. At first he's kind of seen as.... well.. someone who basically sleeps with woman regularly... The background knowledge we get in the first scenes of him, is he can't hold a job very long, and he earns money by calling in anonymous tips to the SBPD(Santa Barbara Police Department). He can easily solve these mysteries by watching the news and seeing the people's reactions.

Shawn goes into collect for his recent tip, and ends up being the lead suspect. he explains that he is psychic, and proves it by saying things about people around the room that he overheard that morning, or noticed. He then bulls in Burtion Guster or 'gus' who has been Shawn's friends since they were kids.He works as a pharmaceutical rep, and gets pulled into Shawn's Private psychic detective business. 'PSYCH'.

Carlton Lassiter, aka Lassie to shawn, is a detective, and is certain that Shawn has some kind of inside man. Although I believe he just still has a grudge over Shawns correct accusation on Lassie.

Juliet O'Hara is Lassiter's new partner in the second episode. As much as Shawn is in love with Juliet throughout the show, Shawn still dates- and sleeps with- other girls. I bet you've already guess that he uses AXE lol. But seriously he does...

So, yea that's basically the basics on Psych. Basically..
